I have met people over the years that have experienced this story. If you are reading this at this applies to you, feel free to leave a comment below. You may add a detail that I didn’t know about.
Tristan attended pre-school at the local high school. I was very nervous to send him for several reasons. My main reason was because of all the high school shootings. After doing intensive one-on-one therapy for a year, I decided it was time to send him to special education preschool. It was time to let him go. It would be good for him.
During Tristan’s pre-school days, I received daily notes on how school went. The folder had a paper. On there was a section for the teacher to comment. This day I opened the note and it read something like this, “There was a substitute teacher today and during gym Tristan pulled the fire alarm. No worries everyone was understanding.”
That means everyone had to exit the building. There were about 1600 high-school students. Not to mention how many staff there were! And… the local fire department had to come check things out! My brain was spinning just thinking about all the details.
I wanted to crawl under a rock.
Enjoy another healthy dose of laugher from our home!
That was an amazing experience!
